Who am I?

  • I'm a mother of three boys.

  • I am Luxembourgish and speak Luxembourgish, German, French and English

  • I got my diploma in June 1998 as a midwife in Brussels at the Haute Ecole Ilya Prigogine annexed to the ULB

  • Worked from February 1999 till July 2021 as a midwife in the different wards of CHL maternity and started working in September 2013 as an independant midwife

  • after all these years in hospital, I took 2021 the challenge to change my life to a 100% independant midwife

  • It is a pleasure  to assist mothers, babies and the new families at home

  • It's important to me that parents find their own way and I can support them in that part of their journey
     

  • Since de beginning of 2022;  I am doing homebirths together with two of my colleagues
     

  • In September 2022, I founded LUNATA together with a colleague.
    It was intended to be a place where you can deliver out of hospital, different from your home,  but Luxembourg and its politics are not ready for it.
    LUNATA still exists and we have turned it into a multidisciplinary practice, with osteopaths, midwives, psychotherapists, where we offer various workshops around birth, such as baby massage, first aid courses, pregnancy advice, babywearing workshops
